I create because it settles my mind. It teaches me about myself, who I want to be, and where I want to go. My work can be described as eclectic, organic, imaginative, and tranquil.
I have loved art and nature for as long as I can remember and I strive to keep them close in my day-to-day life. I am inspired by the beauty of the land and sea, modern as well as vintage art and design, Surrealism, Post-Impressionism, and Japanese woodblock prints.
I have an associate's degree in advertising and graphic design, five certificates in graphic design, and a certificate in web design from Wake Tech.
I also have a bachelor's degree in art education from Radford University and am certified to teach K-12 visual arts in North Carolina and Virginia.
In my free time I like to spend time with my husband and animals, travel, camp, hike, garden, paint, draw, and go to concerts. My goal in life is to see the world.
